There are few places you can go to that can provide you with both a rural country setting or an urban metropolis setting but the province of Ontario is just such a place. With a population of almost 13 million people and a land that area that covers over 415,000 square miles you can see just how Ontario makes for a pretty big area. So it's no wonder that you can find a variety of places to live in when looking at Ontario.
Depending on the type of real estate you would like to own and live in and the area you want to live in you're going to have an easy time of picking out a destination in Ontario to call home. Kingston, Oakville, Etobicoke and London real estate properties are just a few examples of diverse Ontario cities that you can call home that will be able to provide you with what you're looking for.
When it comes to purchasing real estate and finding a city to call home not only do you need to look at the wide range of homes for sale on the market but you also need to look at the area itself to give you an idea of what it would be like to live there. For example Oakville is a suburban town with a population of over 18,000 people while a city like Kingston is located near the Saint Lawrence River, has a population of nearly 123,000 people and is full of heritage buildings. One thing you would be able to find an abundance of in Kingston are Kingston waterfront property, which is something you might not be able to come across in another part of Ontario such as in Geraldton. You may find the perfect location but the home itself is in need of renovations or repair.
What you're looking for in a home will be determined also by what you're looking for in a city or town. Remarkable condo developments, while attractive enough, may still not catch your interest if the problem lies within the surrounding area. Maybe it's not big enough or the location isn't ideal for you. Whatever the reason may be you shouldn't force yourself to live in a part of Ontario that doesn't call out to you. The main reason being is that there will be somewhere in Ontario that will speak to you.
How could there not be? It doesn't matter if you're looking for a small ice fishing town, a big metropolitan city that is always hustling and bustling, or a small quiet "country-like" setting you will find such a location in Ontario. It might take some time doing your research on places like Etobicoke or Georgetown Ontario but eventually you'll be able to settle down somewhere.
